还记得小时候，当我听到音乐的时候，我都会欣喜雀跃，随着音乐哼起歌来。

印象深刻的是小时候的电子游戏机里，有一些会用到古典乐来配乐。有一首曲子在脑海里挥之不去，也不知道是什么，只是觉得很好听，直到大了，跟古典音乐接触多了，才偶然发现，原来是柴可夫斯基的第一钢琴协奏曲。

尤其是管弦乐，由几十种不同乐器组合的音色，充满了喜怒哀乐的表达，一张专辑可以一遍又一遍的听，每次都听得很入神。凡是管弦乐的，都会上网下载来听，乐以忘忧。

从此，上网听音乐几乎是每一天的事了，没有金钱能力的当时，一直努力地翻遍网络企图下载免费的曲谱。

不知道什么时候开始，直到最近在检讨着我对音乐的追求，发现我听音乐，无论是什么音乐，但已经没有那种感觉了，好象，我们互不相识，也无法更深一层认识。

现在纵有了不少的谱，但好像从没翻阅它们，只是充当书架的装饰罢了。

听音乐，好像只是掩盖听觉的无聊，好让时间更快过。

通过这点，我能不能下定论，我生命里的音乐是不是变了呢？音乐已经不再是我真正要追求的东西？

the only time i start falling asleep is 7am, after whole night of torturing in the mind..

that makes me late for work for these few days, gonna start sweet talking before i get fired..

im not playing music anymore.. im just producing sounds of notes..

there's no motivation to advance myself..

because i have no goals?

it can't be any more despair, realizing you do not have goals or dreams anymore..

only wandering in your own realm of suffering..

it's just the same as dead..

starting to feel a little pain in the chest, perhaps too little rest..

hair starts falling too, noticed that the bathroom drainage getting more hair..

under my eye reflecting dark color through the skin..

can't even get myself to speak clearly with customers, only mumbling, or day dream in the mid of conversation..

feels annoyed with person who talks to me, just have to talk casually as if nothing ever happened..

im losing my appetite.. skipping breakfast and dinner, only have lunch for the whole day..

instead start taking a lot of sweet stuff and coffee to keep myself awake during the day..

curiously & seriously, what would smoking + drinking till drunk would feels like?

the day didn't start off so nice.. i was caught in a jam..

apparently a car was burnt near taman cannaught

later in the afternoon went to Trinity Diploma Graduation Ceremony to work, first time controlling audio and video at the same time, almost messed up.. didn't bother to take any more pics since its not related to the title.

shortly after ceremony, took a flight to bangkok with company..

this is the first time I visit Thailand, Bangkok, was quite excited.

The king of the Thailand is a jazz saxophonist, but I saw him playing the trumpet. His love for jazz music is so influencing that you don't get to listen Eminem or Gaga around the city, but mostly Jazz, classical, broadways, oldies, sentimetals, light pop music and so on..

The hotel our company stays in.. Sivatel.. We get to stay in this place because the wife of the owner runs the Trinity music examination in Thailand. The top floor of its office next to the hotel was used as a music school and examination center.

We were brought to some butcher shop for supper in the first night after arrival.

this food are really nice..

but they are not cheap as well, 40 baht just for plain water.

(We had a company meeting the next day, but it was boring, I slept and didn't took any pics)

During the free day, we went to visit Chatuchak market. Sensors and security check points are installed in each MRT, securities does check your bag, but nobody bothers about the sensors, people just ignore it.

The chatuchak market was rather famous and among the tourism hot spot.

So big that they say it sums up a size of 3 ~ 4 football field.

Nothing really fancy me, it is definitely famous just because for its size. I did bought, but 2 T-shirts.

While I was walking around the market I saw a lot of young females chasing from each entrance to another (there are a few entrances to the market)

I soon learned that they are all astronomers, trying to get a place to look for certain star.

They are stars from Korea, girls are cheering excitingly and loud upon sighting these stars.

(I don't know why would the uncle in the previous picture interested in this kind of star)

That particular spot in the market was certainly flooded with crowds.

What rather interest me is this boy playing a Khene, basking.

He only play a sustaining note, and a melody consists of only 5th ~ 3rd below the sustaining note.

A rather medium sized set drum was left in the corner unattended.

A familiar looking sailor has started his new life in Bangkok, probably just to make some allowance before he continue his trip to Melacca.

A very successful silk trader however disappeared mysteriously without a single trace when he visits Malaysia.

At night, we visited the Siam Nirmait, a thai cultural show.

The elephant, as a tourist attraction, later make its appearance in the stage drama show.

The buffet dining area, simple designed but foods are fantastic, some guy would walk around to perform magic trick as entertainment.

It turned to be really a fantastic show. The stage was even listed into Guiness world record. The stage design is way so high tech, the show is so damn nice and even animals like goat chicken and elephants are shown. The guys are so muscular while the girls are so sexy. The sound effect is superb. The scenes are 10++ layered for different plays and with many real nature atmosphere effect. A truly must see show, I wished that I could go and see again.

In Washington , DC , at a Metro Station, on a cold January morning in 2007, this man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, approximately 2,000 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. After about 3 minutes, a middle-aged man noticed that there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds, and then he hurried on to meet his schedule.

About 4 minutes later:

The violinist received his first dollar. A woman threw money in the hat and, without stopping, continued to walk.

At 6 minutes:

A young man leaned against the wall to listen to him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again.

At 10 minutes:

A 3-year old boy stopped, but his mother tugged him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the violinist again, but the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk, turning his head the whole time. This action was repeated by several other children, but every parent - without exception - forced their children to move on quickly.

At 45 minutes:

The musician played continuously. Only 6 people stopped and listened for a short while. About 20 gave money but continued to walk at their normal pace. The man collected a total of $32.

After 1 hour:

He finished playing and silence took over. No one noticed and no one applauded. There was no recognition at all.

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the greatest musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars. Two days before, Joshua Bell sold-out a

theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100 each to sit and listen to him play the same music.

This is a true story. Joshua Bell, playing incognito in the D.C. Metro Station, was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and people's priorities.

This experiment raised several questions:

*In a common-place environment, at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive

beauty?

*If so, do we stop to appreciate it?

*Do we recognize talent in an unexpected context?

One possible conclusion reached from this experiment could be this:

If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world, playing some of the finest music ever written, with one of the most beautiful instruments ever made . .

KUALA LUMPUR: United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton flew into Malaysia last night for her whirlwind 36-hour visit, but the tricky question is whether she will meet Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The US embassy here gave a terse reply that it was unaware of such a meeting.

“There is no scheduled meeting between Mrs Clinton and Anwar in her social calendar as far as I am aware of,” said Tina Malone, the embassy’s press attache.

Whirlwind visit: Clinton being greeted by (from right) Malaysian Ambassador to the United States Datuk Seri Jamaluddin Jarjis, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman and US Ambassador to Malaysia Paul W Jones at the Subang airport Monday.

However, there is talk that Clinton will meet the Opposition Leader today.

Anwar left Sandakan for Kuala Lumpur last night after campaigning for the Batu Sapi by-election.
Should the meeting take place, it will not be viewed favourably by Kuala Lumpur just as bilateral relations with the administration of President Barack Obama appear to be strengthening.

Clinton, who is the first Secretary of State to conduct an official visit to Malaysia in 15 years, was received on arrival by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman at the Subang airport.

A bilateral meeting will take place at Wisma Putra in Putrajaya today, where they are expected to hold a joint press conference.

I went there to listen how well does it sound, to be greeted by some a**hole who looked at me with an annoyed face and looking down on me, knowing me not going to buy it.

I sat there and listened to several different genre of music, and the experience was indeed a nice one, as if music was played live in front of you.

The pic shown above is the remote control for it and it fits in your palm, it is fun playing with its volume control, its the gold ring at the outer layer, it spins like roulette and smoothly, and the volume level is measured by the scale of 0.1 .. detailed indeed..

just one word about this audio system, "yeng" ..

I wished I could afford one XD , afterall I love steinway.. fantastic piano.. one single key sound from it raised me to heaven.

These happened 2 days ago from this blog post..

This is where my Australian teacher lives.. Kampung Warisan condo, just right opposite the Setiawangsa Putra LRT Station..

it's a place filled with greens, and there's small hill with forest beside.. can even hear birds chirping inside.. but didn't saw any harimau or ma lao..

now u see some malaos..

Foot injured..

At night.. I went to see a doctor with my classmate.. she injured her wrist due to overuse her hands I think.. practicing from day to night non-stop is too taxing.. she ngong de..

went to see this doctor sumwhere in SS2, recommended by my lecturer.. People willing to wait a couple of hours just to seek 10 minutes treatment from him..

yea.. me too, I waited from.. 6pm to 9++pm, around 3 hours.. some even worst, they waited up to 5 hours .. @@ ..

I actually injured my ankle few months ago, just that, it takes forever to recover.. Did consult on the doctor, undergo those soundwave diagnose thingy, said that my nerves got swollen and it would eventually recover by itself.. and he gave me some pills and an injection to cure it, it did make things better, but not completely =S So I just leave it there minimize by ankle movements, hopefully it recover some day..

so decided to give it a try for this, see how it goes..

maybe he's that good.. and he charges around rm40.. quite reasonable I guess..

In the end, we came out with her hand wraped up..

and mine on the foot..

that's pathetic.. sigh..

Almost get to see MJ, an almost accident..

this morning was driving on the highway sumwhere in Cheras area... it was Sunday early morning, the traffic has less car on the road..

As usual reckless-not-so-now driver like me would drive on the right most lane, I drove around 100km/h, hoping to reach my home as soon as possible..

then the following happened..

i drew this out with the paint.. its the highway, the blue square is my car, the red is the gila babi's car... and i decorated the road with more cars with pink ones ..

the green arrow is the traffic direction and the yellow arrow is mine and the gila babi's car moving direction..

I was driving at the right lane, and listening to some broadway-like music.. then I saw this car coming towards my direction, without hesitation I turned left, luckily there was not much car in the early morning, there was much spaces on the left lane.. It was an old square shaped car.. and what the hell, and how the hell did he got onto that lane ?!?!?

yea.. seriously I'm damn lucky to have avoided this accident, but I think, or bet, this is not going to happen for the entire highway, imagine how many cars are there going to be and this red car is not going or turning anywhere in the middle of highway.. any car who drives on the right lane, even if he's trying to be jackass driving 60km/h on it, if he crashes on it, the survival rate is seriously going to be nearly none at all..

probably I'll get to see some news on the paper tomorrow..

I would have died from this car crash and sees MJ.. really thank gohonzon for protecting me.. out of all traffic accidents happened on me, this would be likely the worst one ever, if it happens..

come to think of it, I'm seriously a lucky bastard as well as I've involved in so many traffic accidents, but I remained not injured at all.. but probably not good luck at all in terms of wealth, the money all burns away everytime.. =S

what is the time now ? 4am++ .. I got class at 8.30am later, and I actually just done one of my assignments, many more to go, gotta bring a few chicken essence back to my hostel later..

It's been long since I updated my blog..

I was banned from the college for a week because I just came back from an international flight and sick at the same time.. perhaps the fearness of H1N1.. some friends are fear of approaching me.. =/

checked with the doctor 3 times.. once in Taiwan, once in Airport, and once in Malaysia.. I just get a common flu because too much food in Taiwan, and there are fried food more.. and didn't drank much water..

hence, I got another week break, staying at home I've got more time, so just have a brief update with what goes around me recently..

Chilling Waterfall trekking

this.. is in fact the most ridiculous trekking I've ever done so far I guess..

we start with a macho-looking style..

this is when the ridiculous moment started.. we went off course from the designated path..

we accidentally took the path opened by adventurers..

it makes our journey much more tiring, dangerous, risky and so on.. yet I was thinking, WTF wrong is this supposed to be a tourism spot ??

we're just a step away falling down from cliff behind us, so this pic was taken under great risk..

but we are not kiasi at all...

afterwards, only we learnt that we went off course, it was a shortcut instead, taking us further down than the designated path.. we went above the waterfall.. instead of crossing the rivers 5 times in the middle of journey, we were always wondering, not a single we've crossed, but straight away reached the end of the journey..

Badan Warisan Malaysia (The Heritage of Malaysia Trust) is the leading national heritage NGO with a reputation for excellence in heritage conservation services spanning more than 25 years. They are a registered charity, and completely independent of government. Their work to promote the conservation and preservation of our historic buildings and places has extended throughout Malaysia and involves community groups, institutions, the private sector and all levels of Government. Badan Warisan Malaysia continues to play a pivotal role in advocacy through their heritage education and training programmes, as well as to demonstrate best practice in the conservation and management of heritage sites.

One of these heritage projects is the Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman – an important example of Malay vernacular architecture and an award-winning relocation and restoration project. Relocated in 1996-97 to the heart of Kuala Lumpur from its original site in Bandar Bahru, Kedah, the Rumah Penghulu is an outstanding example of a village headman’s residence, and daily guided tours provide visitors with an in-depth understanding and appreciation of Malay architecture, traditions, culture and identity.

It has been 12 years since the restoration was completed and, despite regular and rigorous maintenance programme, time has taken its toll and the house is now in need of urgent repairs and refurbishment. In particular, the traditional clay tile roof is leaking and many of the tiles which have been cracked or broken need to be replaced. The charity concert "La Promessa - A Recital of Italian Arias and Art Songs" is an appeal for funds towards the urgent repair of the roof of Rumah Penghulu.

Your generous and kind contribution in support of this cause will help Badan Warisan Malaysia restore the house to optimum condition so that it can be enjoyed by visitors from near and far for many years to come.

The charity concert by Artists Platform features soprano Ang Mei Foong and pianist, Kok-Ting Chong. Malaysian born Kok-Ting studied in Ipoh before furthering his studies at Trinity College of Music, London. He is a winner of numerous competitions - The John Longmire Prize, The John Halford Prize, The Elisabeth Schumann Lieder Prize, The English Song Prize, The John Ireland Trust, The English Singers and Speaker, highly commended in the Great Grimsby Competition and at The Young Musician of the Year Competition in Stockholm. His contribution to the local National Classical Singing Competition as an accompanist is well recognized and in 2001 he was awarded the first Accompanist Prize by the board of adjudicators.

Ang Mei Foong started learning the piano at the age of nine and furthered her musical education through vocal training. She first received her Bachelor’s degree from the Taiwan National University before entering the Conservatorio di Musica Santa Cecilia in Rome, Italy where she worked under the guidance of Maestra Rebecca Berg. She subsequently received a full scholarship to pursue her Masters at the University of Melbourne where she studied with Merlyn Quaife. An active recitalist, Mei Fong has given well received recitals in Kuala Lumpur, Taiwan and Melbourne.

The musical programme from La Promessa (The Promise) will include selections from Donizetti, Rossini, Aldo Finzi, Tosti and Puccini.
